Traveling out of the city trough the famous Panamerican Highway, you'll drive through the picturesque town of Puerto Varas ( a stop will be made there), where you will have a nice view of the Llanquihue Lake and the snow-capped Osorno Volcano.
Your journey continues past the little village of Ensenada before reaching the Petrohue Falls.
Experience the picturesque setting of a succession of emerald green rapids against a backdrop of mountains to the East. There will be ample time to explore the area by foot.
Continuing the journey, you will go on to Vicente Perez Rosales National Park and up the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, at an altitude of 1,300 meters ( 4300 feet) above sea level. When you reach La Burbuja sector, you will enjoy the panoramic views and will be able to take pictures of the unique view of the summit of the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco with their snow-covered peaks and of Lake Llanquihue.
After that you will arrive to the Ski center where you will ride the chairlift in order to arrive to the ZIP LINE departure. The first platform of this zip line adventure is located on the middle of the volcano hill.
The zip line consists of a series of platforms firmly built on the lava fields. These platforms are joined by means of steel cables. You will receive the highest quality equipment such as harnesses used for professional climbing and a short briefing on how to use the equipment. Now you are ready to start this amazing descent traveling from platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal traverse cables.
Expert guides assist you in this exciting journey through the different layers of the Osorno volcano hill and explain what to expect. The tour takes approximately 1 to 2 hours to complete, with a total of 4 platforms.
Because of the spectacular natural resources found here, large areas have been declared National parks in order to preserve the remains of native forests which once covered the greater part of southern Chile
The park is home to extensive native flora of millennial Alerce, Coihue, Lenga, Tepa, Arrayan, Manio, Notro and over 600 other species. The outstanding animal life is represented by Puma, Pudu, Coipos, beaver, fox, forest monkey, and the great Andean Small.
At the end of this adventure, we have time for well deserved lunch ( not included).
